Terms of Service
Clipout is a product name of, and is operated by, Elowin Labs LLC. References to “Clipout”, “we” or “us” mean Elowin Labs LLC doing business as Clipout. By using this site you agree to these terms; the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are part of them.
The service
Clipout removes backgrounds from images with an AI model that runs in your browser. It is free, needs no account, and processes your images on your own device. Results are produced automatically and can contain mistakes; check them before you rely on them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clipout, or older if the law where you live requires it.
Your images
Your images and the cutouts you make stay yours. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive them and claim no rights in them. You are responsible for having the rights to the images you edit and for how you use the results.
Acceptable use
Do not use Clipout to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to create content that sexualizes minors, or to deceive people with manipulated images of real persons. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy it in a way that misleads people into thinking your service is ours.
Tips
You may support Clipout with a tip through Ko-fi. Tips are voluntary, buy nothing, and are non-refundable except at our discretion.
Our content and open-source components
The site's design, text and code are ours. Clipout uses the BiRefNet model and ONNX Runtime Web, both published under the MIT licence by their authors; their licences apply to those components.

CLIPOUT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, ELOWIN LABS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF CLIPOUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO US$50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Changes and availability
We may change or discontinue Clipout, or update these terms, at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country, nor of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you that right.
