Marketplace rules in short

Amazon asks for a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255) on main product images, with the product filling about 85% of the frame; images of at least 1000 pixels on the longest side enable zoom. Shopify recommends 2048 × 2048 pixels for square product images. Always check the marketplace's current guide before you publish.

Why white stays white

Clipout composites the product over exact RGB 255 white at full size, and the colour decontamination step removes the old background's tint from soft edges, so there is no grey or coloured rim around the product.
